In the summer of 2013 I created a map using conceptual cartography to demonstrate the relationship between different kinds of software and its users as part of the Mozilla “Teach The Web” festivities. My social media partner never came through with a writeup of the project (surprise—not), so I’m finally getting around to sharing it here. I do not recall precisely what the theme was, but it involved creating something which explained or demonstrated the importance of “open.”
Map of Openlandia was created using the FOSS4G product QGIS, so its features are drawn within a geospatial coordinate system.
